Solvent-free epoxy transition primer for ceramic tiles and non-absorbent surfaces.
A two-component transition primer based on solvent-free epoxy resin, developed for non-absorbent ceramic surfaces. Applied over ceramic tiles, it acts as an adhesion bridge for subsequent epoxy and polyurethane coatings, allowing existing tiles to be coated without removal.

DOCUMENTS TECHNIQUES
Utilisation et application
DOMAINES D’UTILISATION
Used on ceramic tiles indoors and outdoors: in hygienic environments such as hospitals and laboratories, in the food, pharmaceutical and paint industries, industrial kitchens, factories, warehouses, terminals, shopping centres and schools.
PRÉPARATION DE SURFACE ET APPLICATION
Ceramic tiles and joints must be dry and free from loose parts, dust, oil, silicone, detergent and release agents. Mix components A and B with a low-speed mechanical mixer until homogeneous (at least 2–3 minutes) and apply the mix within its pot life. Apply by roller or airless spray; broadcast dry silica sand into the wet film and sweep off the excess once dry. Apply the following coats within 24 hours at the latest. Ambient and floor temperature must be between +10 °C and +30 °C and relative humidity below 80%; floor temperature must be kept at least 3 °C above the dew point.
DOMAINES D’APPLICATION
→ Pharmaceutical, Hospital and Laboratory
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific system design.
POINTS FORTS
— Coating without removing the tiles
— Strong adhesion to non-absorbent surfaces
— Rough interface with silica broadcast
— Compatible with epoxy and polyurethane systems
