Utilisation et application
DOMAINES D’UTILISATION
Ideal where excellent chemical resistance to salt and fresh water, petroleum products, crude oil, alkalis and weak acids is required, particularly in heavy industrial atmospheres.
PRÉPARATION DE SURFACE ET APPLICATION
New concrete must be cured for at least 28 days; surface moisture must not exceed 4%. Remove weak surface layers, laitance, oil, curing compounds and old coating residues by milling, shot-blasting or diamond grinding; remove the dust with an industrial vacuum. Repair cracks and holes with epoxy repair mortar. The system is applied over 646 Novolac primer and 656 Nova Basecoat. Mix components A and B with a low-speed mechanical mixer until homogeneous (at least 2–3 minutes) and apply the mix within its pot life. Spread with a squeegee and notched trowel and de-aerate with a spiked roller. Ambient and floor temperature must be between +10 °C and +30 °C and relative humidity below 80%; floor temperature must be kept at least 3 °C above the dew point.
DOMAINES D’APPLICATION
→ Chemical, Petrochemical and Treatment
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific system design.
POINTS FORTS
