GENFLOOR PRIMARY

It is a solvent-free epoxy-based surface impregnation primer. It is a primer with good penetration properties, resistant to chemicals and high mechanical strength. It fills the capillary gaps of concrete floors, increases their strength and acts as an adhesion bridge for subsequent epoxy coatings or paints.

Surface Preparation and Application Method

Weak parts of the application surfaces should be removed by milling, sandblasting or sanding. If the surface is too shiny, it should be roughened by milling or sandblasting and the specific surface should be increased. If there is oil on the surface, it should be burned, dirt and dust should be vacuumed. The cleaned surfaces are impregnated with Solvent-Free Epoxy Impregnation Primer (GENFLOOR PRIMER 643) and GENFLOOR PRIMER 640 or GENFLOOR 640 is mixed with 02-05 Silica sand at a ratio of 1:1 and applied with a trowel at the prescribed consumption. Other epoxy layers can be applied no later than 24 hours after the primer application.
