Gen Anti-Smoke
It is a synthetic paint that covers chimney flows, dirty and sooty surfaces. It locks the dirt and sooty and prevents them from passing through to the final coat of paint.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
It can be easily applied to any painted or unpainted surface (wall/ceiling) on interior walls. Any swollen textures on the surface to be applied should be sanded clean, old alkyd-based paints should be sanded and surface defects should be corrected. If water-based paint is to be applied over Gen Anti Is, Gen Transition Primer should be applied after light sanding of the surface. Then, water-based paint should be applied. Solvent-based paint can be applied directly over Gen Anti Is. During application and until the products are completely dry, care should be taken to ensure that the ambient and surface temperature is between +5°C and +30°C, and the surfaces should be protected from frost.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
Gen Anti Soot is applied in two coats without dilution using a brush or roller. A third coat may be required on very dirty surfaces.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
Depending on the type, absorbency and structure of the surface to be applied, 5-7 m2 of area can be painted in a single coat with 1 Liter. A controlled sample study should be carried out for exact consumption.
Drying Time
It is touch dry in 1-2 hours. Wait 8 hours between coats (drying time may be longer at higher relative humidity and lower temperatures).
Recommended Application Appliances
Satin roller and brush
