FIBER SUSET LIQUID WATERPROOFING MATERIAL

Acrylic copolymer resin based, elastic, single component, brush or roller applicable, developed for areas considered risky in waterproofing, polypropylene fiber added white colored waterproofing material. Provides high protection against all kinds of water flow coming from the opposite direction after drying. Used on sloping grounds and slopes with water flow but no water accumulation. It should be covered on roofs and similar surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.

Surface Preparation and Application Method

Fiber Suset should be applied to moisture-free, dry and clean surfaces. Any type of oil, dirt, dust and loose ground that will prevent the product from adhering to the surface to be applied should be cleaned. The application surfaces should have a slope that will not cause ponding. Gaps and holes on the ground should be filled with repair mortar. Depending on the condition of the surface, before applying Fiber Suset, a coat of primer should be applied with 100% water diluted Suset and two coats of Fiber Suset should be applied on top of it. (Fiber Suset should be used without dilution. Application should be done in minimum two coats.) A maximum of 24 hours should be waited between coats and the second coat should be applied at a 90° perpendicular direction to the first coat. Joint points should be applied in strips. Fiber Suset should be applied especially in dry weather between +5°C and +35°C. Application should not be done in weather conditions such as rain, snow and frost. Application surfaces should be protected from adverse weather conditions for 48 hours. All surfaces where Fibre Suset is applied must be protected with screed, ceramic or similar coatings in order to provide the required performance and resistance against external effects. Application tools must be cleaned with water.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

It is ready to use.

Paintable (Coatable) Area

Depending on the structure, roughness and porosity of the applied surface, the average vertical consumption is 0.750-1 kg/m² and horizontal consumption is 1-1.5 kg/m² for each layer. The given consumptions are approximate values; since there will be differences depending on the porosity and void structure of the surface, the exact consumption will be determined at the end of the job.

Drying Time

Complete Drying Time: Min. 48 Hours. Waiting Time Between Coats: Min. 12 Hours.
