GENFLOOR CERAMIC SURFACE PRIMER
It is a solvent-free, epoxy resin based, two-component, non-absorbent, ceramic transition primer. Ceramic
When applied on the surface, it acts as an adhesion bridge for subsequent epoxy and polyurethane coatings or paints.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
The application surface must be cleared of weakly adhered parts, dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing material.
The surface must be cleared of substances that prevent adhesion such as detergents and mold oils.
Ceramic surface and joints must be dry, and the ground temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point. GENFLOOR CERAMIC SURFACE PRIMER mixture is applied to the ground with a roller or airless gun. In order to roughen the surface, dry silica sand is sprinkled on the GENFLOOR CERAMIC SURFACE PRIMER in the desired grain distribution range while it is wet and left to dry. Then, the excess sand is swept away and made ready for coating. It is recommended to apply the following epoxy layers within 24 hours at the most.
