HK-101 Mortar Additive
It is a liquid additive for mortars and plasters. It is used in all types of plasters and screeds exposed to water and moisture, exterior plasters, pool, septic tank, waste water treatment plants, basement, bathroom, terrace plasters and screeds. It is used in all mortar mixtures consisting of sand, cement, gravel that do not contain iron reinforcement.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
The substructure must be clean and solid, therefore, broken and prone parts must be cleaned, the surface must be moistened. The sand must be sifted through a 3 mm sieve, free of silt, clean and toothed. The cement must be fresh and intact. Lime must not be added to the prepared mortar.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
It is ready to use. It should be diluted with water.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
Depending on the amount of mortar mixing water; 1 part Gen HK-101 is mixed to an average of 5 parts water. The given consumptions are approximate values; since there will be differences depending on the pore and void structure of the surface, the exact consumption will be determined at the end of the job.
Drying Time
The cement shows its performance after 21 days of setting time.
