Gentex Parquet Glass Polish
It is a polyurethane modified alkyd resin based, single component, glossy parquet polish.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
Newly laid parquets that have lost their moisture should be primed with Cellulosic Filling Varnish, scraped and sanded, dusted and then applied. Old parquets that have been polished with wax polish should be scraped and cleaned very well from the old varnish, primed with Cellulosic Filling Varnish, scraped and sanded, dusted and then polished. It is recommended to fill the gaps between the parquets with a paste made of sandpaper shavings and parquet varnish. The box should be mixed well before and during application. It is applied in 2 or 3 layers, waiting at least 12 hours between layers.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
It is ready to use.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
15 m²/L in one coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.
Drying Time
At 20°C and 50% relative humidity, it completes its drying in 12 hours. It gains its physical and chemical resistance in a maximum of 7 days.
