Gen Water Based Panel Door Paint
It is a water-based, silky matte looking, high covering, top coat panel door paint developed for American panel and molding doors. It can be used on all kinds of wooden surfaces such as MDF, veneer, solid.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
The surfaces to be applied must be smooth, solid, dry and dust-free. In old surfaces, sanding should be done in order to increase the paint performance on the previous surface. After repairing the holes and cracks that need to be filled with Gen Wood Putty, Gen Water-Based Panel Door Paint, diluted by 10-15%, can be applied as a primer. The final coat of paint should be applied in 2 layers and 4-6 hours should be waited between layers.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
It is ready to use. If desired, it can be diluted with a maximum of 5% water by volume.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
10-15 m²/L in one coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.
Drying Time
At 20°C, it is touch dry in 5 minutes, dust-holding dry in 30 minutes and hard dry in 24 hours.
Recommended Application Appliances
Satin roller, brush or spray gun.
