Suset Liquid Water Insulation Material
Acrylic copolymer resin based, elastic, single component, white colored water insulation material that can be applied with a brush or roller. After drying, it provides high protection against all kinds of water flow coming from the opposite direction. It is used on sloping grounds and slopes with water flow but no water accumulation. It should be covered on roofs and similar surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
Suset should be applied to moisture-free, dry and clean surfaces. Any oil, dirt, dust and loose ground that will prevent the product from adhering to the surface should be cleaned. It is recommended to clean plaster and concrete surfaces with warm soapy water before application. The surfaces to be applied should have a slope that will not cause ponding (min. 5%). Gaps and holes on the ground should be filled with repair mortar. Depending on the condition of the surface, Suset should be diluted with 100% water and a coat of primer should be applied and then two coats should be applied without dilution. (Application should be made in minimum two coats.) The second coat should be applied 90° perpendicular to the first coat. Fibered Suset should be applied as a strip at horizontal and vertical joints. Suset should be applied between +5 °C and +35 °C, especially in dry weather. Application should not be done in weather conditions such as rain, snow and frost. The applied surfaces should be protected from these weather conditions for at least 48 hours.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
It is ready to use.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
Depending on the structure, roughness and porosity of the applied surface, the average vertical consumption is 0.750-1 kg/m² and horizontal consumption is 1-1.5 kg/m² for each layer. The given consumptions are approximate values; since there will be differences depending on the porosity and void structure of the surface, the exact consumption will be determined at the end of the job.
Drying Time
Complete Drying Time: Min. 48 Hours. Waiting Time Between Coats: Min. 12 Hours.
Recommended Application Appliances
Roller and brush
