Gen Vistawood Aqua Water Based Wood Varnish
With its superior formulation structure, it is extremely resistant to the destructive effects of variable weather conditions. It has been developed for application on top coat paint on flat surfaces without pattern and texture. With the help of Gen Vistawood coral roller, wood pattern apparatus etc., the desired bright decorative appearances can be achieved.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
On old painted wooden surfaces, paint and paint residues should be completely cleaned and any stained parts on the wood should be sanded. Then, dust should be wiped off with a clean, lint-free cloth and varnishing should be started. On surfaces to be newly varnished, knotty parts of the wood, rough surfaces and stained areas should be cleaned with sandpaper, dust should be removed and application should be started after making sure that the wood is completely dry.
Before use, mix the product thoroughly and check its homogeneity. Repeat this process throughout the application. Apply the product in 2 coats with a brush and wait 16 hours between coats. Apply the 1st coat and wait for it to dry completely. Then apply the 2nd coat by sanding with 180/220 grit sandpaper. Wait 16 hours for it to dry completely. Apply in the direction of the wood grain to obtain a homogeneous appearance.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
It is ready to use, it does not need to be diluted.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
Depending on the absorbency of the wood, it covers 6 - 7 m² / L in two coats. It is recommended to carry out a controlled sample study for exact consumption.
Drying Time
It completes its initial drying in 1-3 hours and its full drying in 24 hours. It may vary depending on the absorbency of the wood, environmental conditions and application options.
