Use and Application
AREAS OF USE
Used in industrial plants, steel structure fabrication, machinery manufacturing, trailer manufacturing and the agricultural machinery industry.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
The surface must be clean and dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, rust, salts and any contamination that could reduce adhesion. Metal surfaces must be abrasive blast-cleaned to at least Sa 2½ according to ISO 8501-1 and primed with 504 Gen Rapid Primer or 505 Gen Anticorrosive Rapid Primer within 6 hours of blasting. Apply the topcoat once the primer has dried. Thin by max. 15–20% with 015 Gen Industrial Thinner and apply at least 2 coats. Surface temperature must be at least 10 °C. Surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point; do not apply on wet or damp surfaces.
