Use and Application
AREAS OF USE
Used on the interior surfaces of concrete water tanks, for fixing rebar starters in port and construction concrete, in car service stations and car parks, warehouses and bonded stores, factories and plants, aircraft and helicopter hangars, hospitals and laboratories.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
New concrete must be cured for at least 28 days; there must be no standing water on the surface. Remove weak surface layers, laitance, oil, curing compounds and old coating residues by milling, shot-blasting or diamond grinding; remove the dust with an industrial vacuum. Repair cracks and holes with epoxy repair mortar. Mix components A and B with a low-speed mechanical mixer until homogeneous (at least 2–3 minutes) and apply the mix within its pot life. Apply by roller or brush; apply the next coat within 24 hours at the latest.
APPLICATION AREAS
→ Chemical, Petrochemical and Treatment
→ Aircraft Hangars and Defence Industry
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific system design.
KEY FEATURES
