Use and Application
AREAS OF USE
Applied in aircraft hangars, automotive plants, defence manufacturing facilities, healthcare laboratories, paint shops, electrical and electronics laboratories, and areas with sensitive electronic equipment and a high explosion risk.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
New concrete must be cured for at least 28 days; surface moisture must not exceed 4%. Remove weak surface layers, laitance, oil, curing compounds and old coating residues by milling, shot-blasting or diamond grinding; remove the dust with an industrial vacuum. Repair cracks and holes with epoxy repair mortar. Prime the surface with 640 Genfloor Primer and lay copper strips for earthing. Mix components A and B with a low-speed mechanical mixer until homogeneous (at least 2–3 minutes) and apply the mix within its pot life. Apply by roller. Ambient and floor temperature must be between +10 °C and +30 °C and relative humidity below 80%; floor temperature must be kept at least 3 °C above the dew point.
APPLICATION AREAS
→ Aircraft Hangars and Defence Industry
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific system design.
