Use and Application

AREAS OF USE

Used in production and storage areas with forklift traffic, loading ramps, supermarkets, multi-storey and underground car parks, exhibition halls and all areas requiring mechanical resistance.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

New concrete must be cured for at least 28 days; surface moisture must not exceed 4%. Remove weak surface layers, laitance, oil, curing compounds and old coating residues by milling, shot-blasting or diamond grinding; remove the dust with an industrial vacuum. Repair cracks and holes with epoxy repair mortar. Prime the surface with 640 Genfloor Primer. Mix components A and B with a low-speed mechanical mixer until homogeneous (at least 2–3 minutes) and apply the mix within its pot life. Pour the mix onto the floor, spread with a notched trowel or squeegee and de-aerate with a spiked roller. Ambient and floor temperature must be between +10 °C and +30 °C and relative humidity below 80%; floor temperature must be kept at least 3 °C above the dew point.

APPLICATION AREAS

→ Factories and Production Plants

→ Warehouses and Logistics Centres

→ Pharmaceutical, Hospital and Laboratory

→ Shopping Centres, Retail, Schools and Offices

Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific system design.
