Genepox Wash Primer

Two-component polyvinyl butyral adhesion primer for galvanised steel, aluminium and steel.

A two-component, reaction-curing primer based on polyvinyl butyral (PVB) modified resin with anticorrosive pigments. It improves the adhesion of the subsequent paint system on difficult substrates, particularly non-ferrous metals.

Uso y aplicación

USOS

Used on steel, aluminium and galvanised surfaces for corrosion protection and to improve the adhesion of subsequent topcoats.

 

PREPARACIÓN DE SUPERFICIE Y APLICACIÓN

Before application, remove dust, rust, oil and other contaminants and correct all surface defects. Prime within 1–2 hours of completing surface preparation. Stir components A and B separately, combine them at the specified ratio and mix with a mechanical mixer until homogeneous. Surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point; do not apply on wet or damp surfaces. Apply as a thin, even film.

Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific system design.
