DOMAINES D’UTILISATION
Cargo oil tanks, fresh water tanks, holds, solvent tanks and chemical tanks.
PRÉPARATION DE SURFACE ET APPLICATION
Blast steel to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2½ (roughness 40–75 µm) and remove salts, grease and dust. St 3 power-tool cleaning may be used for local repairs. In tanks, remove all blasting dust and stripe-coat welds and edges separately. Steel surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point and relative humidity below 85%. Use the mixture within its pot life.
ZONES DU NAVIRE ADAPTÉES
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific paint specifications and system design.
POINTS FORTS
— Wide chemical resistance (petroleum products, alkalis, acids, methanol)
— High build in a single coat
— High solids
— For cargo and chemical tanks
