DOMAINES D’UTILISATION
Decks, holds, hatch covers, other steel structures and underwater areas; immersion service on ships, barges, port facilities and offshore structures.
PRÉPARATION DE SURFACE ET APPLICATION
Blast steel to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2½ (roughness 40–75 µm) and remove salts, grease and dust. St 3 power-tool cleaning may be used for local repairs. Mix A and B and apply by airless spray, brush or roller. Steel surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point and relative humidity below 85%. Use the mixture within its pot life.
ZONES DU NAVIRE ADAPTÉES
→ Offshore and Port Structures
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific paint specifications and system design.
