Fast-drying anticorrosive primer based on rapid alkyd with zinc phosphate pigment.
A single-component, air-drying primer based on rapid alkyd, containing anticorrosive zinc phosphate pigment. It prevents rust formation on metal and is ideal for all metal surfaces requiring high corrosion resistance and fast drying.

Utilisation et application
DOMAINES D’UTILISATION
Used on all metal surfaces requiring high corrosion resistance and fast drying; in machinery, equipment, vehicle-mounted equipment and steel fabrication.
PRÉPARATION DE SURFACE ET APPLICATION
The surface must be clean and dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, rust, salts and any contamination that could reduce adhesion. Metal surfaces must be abrasive blast-cleaned to at least Sa 2½ according to ISO 8501-1 and primed with Gen Anticorrosive Rapid Primer within 6 hours of blasting. Thin the product to suit the application equipment and stir until homogeneous. Apply the topcoat once the primer has dried (4–6 hours); allow 24 hours between topcoats. Application temperature: min. +10 °C / max. +30 °C. Surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point; do not apply on wet or damp surfaces.
