Epoxy · Osmosis barrier · GRP
Epoxy-based, water-resistant barrier coating that minimises water ingress and protects GRP hulls against osmosis.
An epoxy-based, water-resistant protective barrier coating. By minimising water penetration it provides long-lasting protection against osmosis, especially on GRP surfaces. It is applied preventively on new boats and as a protective barrier on boats after osmosis repair.

Utilisation et application
DOMAINES D’UTILISATION
Underwater surfaces of GRP (fibreglass) boats; as a protective coat against osmosis; as a barrier in underwater paint systems.
PRÉPARATION DE SURFACE ET APPLICATION
Abrade the gelcoat to a matt finish, remove dust and wipe with solvent. On boats after osmosis repair, confirm the laminate is dry by moisture measurement. Apply coat by coat by brush, roller or spray until the required thickness is reached. Air and surface temperature must be above +5 °C and relative humidity below 85%; surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point.
TYPES DE BATEAUX ADAPTÉS
Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for a paint schedule tailored to your boat.
POINTS FORTS
— High water resistance
— Osmosis-preventing barrier
— Sound base for antifouling systems
— Epoxy durability
