Two-component zinc-rich epoxy primer with pure micronised zinc dust providing cathodic protection.
A two-component anti-corrosive primer containing pure micronised zinc dust that provides cathodic protection. It is used for priming steel exposed to water, seawater, chemicals and abrasion, in shipbuilding and marine applications, and on underwater hull surfaces.

Priming of steel exposed to water, seawater, chemicals and abrasion; newbuilding and ship repair; underwater hull surfaces and areas requiring high corrosion resistance.
ПОДГОТОВКА ПОВЕРХНОСТИ И НАНЕСЕНИЕ
Blast steel to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2½ (roughness 40–75 µm) and remove salts, grease and dust. St 3 power-tool cleaning may be used for local repairs. Keep the zinc-rich component in suspension by continuous stirring; apply by airless spray. Steel surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point and relative humidity below 85%. Use the mixture within its pot life.

Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for project-specific paint specifications and system design.
