USOS
Underwater surfaces of fibreglass (GRP), wooden and metal boats; light-coloured antifouling schemes; underwater surfaces of yachts and boats where appearance matters.
PREPARACIÓN DE SUPERFICIE Y APLICACIÓN
On new GRP boats, remove mould release agent residues with a suitable surface cleaner and abrade to a matt finish. On previously antifouled surfaces, wash with high-pressure fresh water, scrape off loose and flaking paint, and make sure the surface is dry, clean and grease-free. Over an antifouling of unknown compatibility, apply 424 Underwater Sealer as an isolating coat. Stir thoroughly and apply at least two coats by brush, roller or spray. Air and surface temperature must be above +5 °C and relative humidity below 85%; surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point.

Technical data are average values at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Coverage varies with surface roughness, application method and film thickness. Consult the Gen Boya technical team for a paint schedule tailored to your boat.
